SPIRE Institute Appoints Jack J. Lesyk, Ph.D., CC-AASP as Director of Sport Psychology Services
SPIRE Institute is a multi-sport training camp, academy and event-hosting complex pioneering new approaches to athletic, academic and character development. Now, another key resource has been added to the SPIRE environment. Sport psychologist Jack J. Lesyk, Ph.D., CC-AASP has been appointed Director of SPIRE Sport Psychology Services.
Dr. Lesyk is both a sport psychology professional and a doctorally trained licensed psychologist. As president of the Association for Applied Sport Psychology, the largest and most respected sport psychology organization in the world, he is a leading authority in the field of sport psychology. He has been in clinical practice and has worked intensively with athletes from over 25 different sports, at competitive levels ranging from scholastic to world-class, Olympic and professional, for over 30 years.
SPIRE offers a wide variety of weekly camp, residential academy, and custom designed sports training programs for local, regional, national and international athletes. Dr. Lesyk’s focus will be to design and implement both individual and group mental skills training programs that will enable SPIRE athletes to optimize their performance and their well being, in and out of the athletic arena.
