SPIRE Institute - Olympic-grade athletic facilities, training and athlete education

SPIRE Institute is one of the largest indoor, multi-sport, training and competition complexes in the world. With more than 750,000 sq. ft. under roof and acres of outdoor facilities, we have the unique capability to simultaneously host clubs, leagues, tournaments and championship events no matter the weather or the season. Every consideration has been taken to create an unparalleled experience for the athlete, coach and the spectator. 

SPIRE Academy - A residential training and academic curriculum

SPIRE Institute launched its residential academy for grades 9-12 and post graduates in September 2012, focused on performance training for all athletes and sports specific training in swimming, volleyball, track and field, throws and basketball. Additional sport programs are on the immediate horizon. Applications are now being accepted.

This will be the first time a sports academy has ever offered this combination of sports training programs. 

Andrews Osborne Academy (AOA) - SPIRE Academy's academic partner for grades 9-12

Andrews Osborne Academy was founded over 100 years ago and is recognized nationally, as well as around the globe, as a premier college prep, day and boarding academy. The academy educates nearly 400 students annually from approximately 11 states and 19 countries. AOA offers competitive but flexible prep school courses, allowing SPIRE's high school athletes the best possible prep school education.

SPIRE Training - Training programs geared toward youth, collegiate and professional athletes

Michael Johnson Performance (MJP) will be the core of every sport training program. The objective is to build stronger, faster, smarter and healthier athletes. 

SPIRE Academy offers school year and summer weekly, weekend and summer camp training programs geared toward middle and high school students, post grads, teams, collegians and professionals, all united by their singular pursuit of performance excellence.

The inaugural training camp sports include swimming, volleyball, track & field, throws. basketball and soccer; to be followed by lacrosse. These will be augmented by performance training, mental skills training and SPIRE Fuel nutrition.

SPIRE Events - Sporting events, business meetings, tournaments

SPIRE is a national and international destination for events of all scales. SPIRE is one of the largest indoor, multi-sport training and competition complexes in the world. With more than 750,000 sq. ft. of indoor space and acres of outdoor facilities, it has the unique capability to simultaneously host clubs, leagues, tournaments and championship events no matter the weather or the season. Every detail of the facility is Olympic-grade and designed to enhance the visitor experience.

SPIRE’s 25,000 sq. ft. glass-encased banquet, hospitality and meeting space overlooks the indoor track facility and features tiered dining/viewing areas, expansive banquet hall, private conference room and custom designed kitchen. This state-of-the-art facility is the ideal location for corporate events, family celebrations or business meetings.

SPIRE Club/Rec - Sports leagues and programs for everyone

SPIRE Club Leagues are open to the public and provide an important foundation for building confidence and character through friendly athletic competition. SPIRE Rec programs provide athletic opportunities for children of all ages to compete, learn the primary skills or enhance their skills in volleyball, flag football, aquatics, soccer, track & field, basketball and more.  


SPIRE's state-of-the-art health and fitness center opened December 2011.  SPIRE Fit offers a variety of family, individual and senior memberships for those who desire a 'best in class' workout environment. Health, wellness and exercise are at the center of the SPIRE vision and SPIRE Fit will promote the values of these components for all of our members. 

SPIRE Aquatics Center

SPIRE ’s Aquatics Center is expected to become one of the premier training and competition facilities in the world. SPIRE partnered with Myrtha Pools, the world leader in pool technology, to design a facility that would house one of the fastest pools in the country with state of the art technology throughout, attracting swimmers from around the world. A 50- meter, 10-lane Olympic sized pool will highlight the center, along with a 25-yard multi-purpose pool and four therapeutic pools.

With a one-and three-meter diving area and two moveable bulkheads for subdivision of the pool, the SPIRE Aquatics Center can host large meets and tournaments efficiently and at one location. 


SPIRE's cool restaurant, which also offers catering services, opened October 2011.

SPIRE Fuel was created to provide dining services for our athletes. Fuel understands that the nutritional requirements for athletes are special; this is why registered dietitians will put their imprint on all SPIRE Institute menu selections.  Wellness, nutrition, freshness, local, variety, culinary inspiration and educating the athlete for smart choices are the cornerstones of Fuel's food service. Its innovative culinary approach is a perfect match to SPIRE Institute’s progressive take on training, performance, education, and competition.

SPIRE Banquet Center

The perfect location for any corporate, charity, or family function, the SPIRE Institute Banquet Center takes service to the next level. A 25,000 sq. ft. glass-encased banquet, hospitality and meeting space overlooks the indoor track facility. A tiered dining/viewing area sets the stage for an expansive banquet hall, private conference room and custom-designed kitchen. SPIRE’s chef and catering team work with you to develop a menu and setting that will exceed your expectations.
