We’re happy to announce that SPIRE FC has joined the Crew Network. This is a soccer program organized by Crew Youth aimed at soccer players aged 4–14.
“We’re excited to welcome SPIRE FC into the Crew Network,” said Crew Youth Technical Director for Youth Partnerships Robert Spain. “Our pilot program has been a success and we look forward to working with clubs in the Greater Columbus area and beyond as we continue to grow the Crew Network.”
SPIRE Director of Soccer, Troy Bingham commented “The Columbus Crew are the pinnacle of soccer in Ohio. Playing in the MLS is a dream of so many of our players and to form a player development pathway partnership from our junior teams, into our academy and then onto the Crew is a fantastic opportunity. We look forward to hopefully providing some of their future talent.”
The Crew Network is focused on the greater Ohio region and gives youth players, coaches, parents, and administrators access to unique experiences and opportunities. Additionally, network clubs receive both technical and commercial benefits from the Crew, such as player training opportunities, access to the Crew’s coaching staff, and increased brand exposure.
We’re ecstatic for our SPIRE FC players to experience everything this new opportunity offers to them!
