GREATER CLEVELAND SPORTS COMISSION AND LAKE ERIE COLLEGE TO WELCOME NCAA DII MEN’S AND WOMEN’S SWIMMING AND DIVING CHAMPIONSHIPS TO NORTHEAST OHIO 
Over 400 student-athletes to compete at SPIRE Institute over four-day championship

WHAT:       Greater Cleveland Sports Commission and Lake Erie College will host the NCAA DII Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships on March 11-14, 2020 at SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio. The nation’s top 400 male and female student-athletes will travel from across the country to compete to determine the individual and team champions in both men’s and women’s NCAA swimming and diving events. 

Competition begins Wednesday, March 11 at 10:00 a.m. as Queens University of Charlotte looks to defend its 2019 titles in both the men’s and women’s teams. Trials begin daily at 10:00 a.m. and the Finals start at 6:00 p.m. A full championship schedule of events can be found here.

                    Ticket prices range from $5 to $15 for individual sessions and $40 to $70 for all-session passes. Tickets are available for purchase onlineNCAA.com will provide a daily broadcast of the competition.

This event is projected to generate an estimated $375,000 in economic impact to Northeast Ohio.
