Atlantic Ten Swimming and Diving Championships
The 2016 Atlantic Ten Swimming and Diving Championship called SPIRE Institute its home this past weekend. In the span of just four days, over 600 athletes came together to compete for the honor of Conference Champions.
During the competition 14 A-10 conference records were broken, 18 A-10 championship meet records were broken, five pool records were broken, and 73 NCAA Division 1 ‘B’ cuts were achieved.

 

Athletes from Davidson, Duquesne, Fordham,George Mason, George Washington, LaSalle, U Mass, Rhode Island, Richmond, St. Bonaventure, and Saint Louis were represented right here in Geneva, Ohio. From 1-meter diving to 1,650 yard freestyle, and everything in between. The Atlantic Ten Swimming and Diving Championship combine individual talent with teamwork to earn points for their school.
Congratulations to University of Massachusetts Men’s Swimming and Diving team and Richmond Women’s Swimming and Diving Team on their success this weekend.

Thad Schultz has previously coached at Ohio State University, Penn State University and Clemson University.

Josh brings over 10 years of experience in aquatics managment, event coordination, and facility maintenance to the SPIRE Institute team.
