2015-16 SPIRE ACADEMY - COLLEGE SIGNING DAY - 11 SPIRE MEN'S BASKETBALL ACADEMY ATHLETES SIGN DIVISION I LETTERS OF INTENT

GENEVA, Ohio- April 13, 2016- SPIRE Institute’s Men’s Basketball Academy announced the signing of 19 of their Basketball Academy Athletes to college letters of intent, 11 of which were with Division I Colleges. SPIRE Institute is one of the world’s largest Olympic-grade multi-sport training, event, and academic complexes. Located at SPIRE Institute, a United States Olympic and Paralympic Training Site, SPIRE Academy is an international high school and postgraduate academy focused on developing and preparing student-athletes to be successful in college. Placing emphasis on academic, athletic, leadership, and character development, SPIRE Academy is the ultimate environment for cultivating strong minds, strong bodies, and strong character to help student-athletes reach their maximum potential.

"I am extremely proud of these young men, the goals they have achieved, and the positive position they have put themselves in, through their hard work and attention to their game.  From the first day they arrive at SPIRE Academy, we tell our athletes that if they buy into the SPIRE program, and utilize all the resources that we have at SPIRE, they will be afforded opportunities that they could only dream of.  These young men bought into the program and their results speak for themselves," stated Academy Director and Head Coach Bobby Bossman.

SPIRE Institute congratulates the following student-athletes who have trained and attended SPIRE Institute’s Basketball Academy this past year. Having now placed over 100 student-athletes into NCAA, NAIA, and NJCAA programs over the past four seasons, and with over 150 College Coaches coming on campus to recruit student-athletes during the 2015-16 season, SPIRE Institute is clearly a leader in providing college exposure for student-athletes.

Our class of 2016 includes 11 NCAA Division I signees, as well as many other Division II and Division III commits.  Their hard work and dedication coupled with the resources of SPIRE Institute allowed these young men to reach their dream of playing college basketball at the highest level.
